Game Guide: Baron Samedi Slot Game Guide

How to Play Baron Samedi Slot

Yggdrasil are experts in creating user-friendly games, and Baron Samedi slot is no different from the rest of their portfolio. The Voudou-themed game (that’s how Voudou is spelled in Haiti), is highly intuitive and packed with features to keep gameplay interesting, so both casino newcomers and regular high rollers will enjoy getting stuck in.

Start your game by deciding how big you want your bet to be - there is a wide scope of bet sizes to choose from, so you can have fun on the reels whatever your budget. Once you’ve chosen how big you want your bet to be (you can adjust this at any time), it’s time to start spinning those reels! The aim of the game is to score matching symbols across the reels, enjoying the various bonus features as you go. Let’s find out more about which exciting features Yggdrasil have chosen to include.

Features and Benefits

As is typical of Yggdrasil’s games, Baron Samedi slot is rich in detail and on-theme features to keep gameplay interesting and make you want to come back for more. The game has a classic three-row, five-reel setup and 25 paylines. There is a top pay-out of 1,200x your bet, which can be won on a single spin. When you enter the game, you’ll immediately be struck by the immersive theme inspired by the Voudou traditions of Haiti.

The setting is at a fortune teller’s card table, with a burning cigar, a dark, sinister drink in a glass and special cards scattered across the surface of the table. The soundtrack is simple but effective, with a suspenseful drum beat and a mysterious voice echoing out of the darkness.

The game, like all slots, is about matching symbols across the reels, and there are eight different symbols to look out for. The lower scoring symbols are the coloured gems, and then there are the male and female Voudou dolls. The highest scoring symbols are the Baron and his beloved wife Brijit, both of whom could seriously boost your bankroll. Besides these regular symbols, there are, as you would expect from slot games of this calibre, some special ones too:

Wild: the Wild is represented by the slightly ominous goat’s skull, but this is a rewarding feature as it replaces other symbols to form more winning combinations across the reels.

Scatter: keep an eye out for the highly detailed Scatter symbol, which is represented by a set of five cards in a decorated golden holder. The Scatter is also handy for boosting your wins as it helps trigger Free Spins rounds!

And there are other features at play here too, all of which add to the experience of playing Baron Samedi slot:

Call on the Card Collection: collect cards while you play and enjoy the various modifiers that these cards trigger. Once you collect the full deck of cards ( which means 10, 20, 40 or 50 cards in total), you’ll be able to trigger Free Spins and other bankroll-boosting features.

Voudou Respin: this feature is triggered when you score two Scatter symbols on the reels, and gives you three cards to add to your collection plus a complimentary Respin.

Baron Samedi Slot Respin: Get three, four or five Scatter symbols and you could get up to 12 Free Spins.
